Vidarbha Dermatological Society was founded in year 1983.Under the ace leadership of Late Dr V M Goverdhan (founder President) and Dr Jayant Lanjewar (founder Secretary) and few dermatologist who could be counted on finger tips,society started working.Within short span it did great work and started expanding.VDS has kept on raising its bar and still tries to raise its bar.seeds of VDS which was sown by Dr Goverdhan and Dr Lanjewar way back in 1983 has fully grown and blossomed into huge tree with 250 plus members .VDS has hosted prestigious conference like CUTICON 2018 and takes pride in hosting national conference of ASICON 2023.As Vidarbha is the heart of India,VDS is the heart of we Vidharbhian Dermatologists.
